Cornucopia Casual

I’m up in Whistler without my good camera to pull off a photo shoot. Normally, I’d just Instagram  (@urbancountrystyle) these moments but I feel like I’ve been cheating on my lil ol’ blog lately, so if you forgive me the iPhone shots I’ll share my Whistler Cornucopia outfit of the day with y’all! (If you’ve never been, Cornucopia is a wine-food-and sometimes vodka 😉 tasting extravaganza about town that runs all this weekend). If you’ve never been and you’re close by…it’s not to be missed. If you’re not, next year’s event should be earmarked on your calendar!

Have a great day Y’all!

Black Skinnies and Biker Jackets

Today I’m moving the contents of the beach house out of storage and into…storage in the new garage on the island! Unless the box was at the front of the storage room, I haven’t seen these things for 2 1/2 years! One of the cartons stuck way at the back is a wardrobe box that has two of my old friends in it. I’m seeing them everywhere this season so I really cannot wait to free them!

First is a black biker jacket I’ve had since the 90s! It was a Christmas present from the Mr. and I remember wearing it EVERYWHERE. It’s time to pull it out again!

I also have a caramel one that I found in a thrift store back then (yes the 90s). I can’t wait to wear it again!

Throughout this spring, one way I’m going to pair them both is with black skinnies…because we’re having a really cool spring here…so, I may as well be cool too, right?

And I know these really have nothing to do with the post theme, but I couldn’t resist showing you some new boots I’m crushing on!

OK, moving men arrive early and I’m excited to pop open a couple of those cartons to see what else I’ve been missing :).

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Suzie
